This package includes a new discovery mechanism called Discovery Server. It leverages the feature of Fast DDS within Vulcanexus giving users the possibility to benefit from one or several servers that handle the discovery of ROS 2 nodes at startup, easing the setup and testing
By using this form of discovery, the behavior of ROS 2 discovery on lossy or WiFi networks will be enhanced, the network traffic will be decreased, resource consumption reduced, and package loss avoided.
